April is National Poetry Month!
Since 1996, the Academy of American Poets has sought to stir excitement and appreciation for this wicked art form, first in the U.S., and then later sinking its passionate claws into Canada.
Poetry is my OG form of therapy; the endless freedom of ink on paper, breaking loose of all expectation and discovering truth that's tucked away, cradling the spirit in its healing hands.
In honor of such a cool celebration, I will be posting one of my originals every Friday in April!
