My Journey and WiSA's Mission

WELCOME.  I'm Niki, a passionate writer from the character-filled city of Cleveland, Ohio.

I love literature, yoga, dancing, meditating, traveling, learning from the tough stuff, and of course, sharing it all with you lovely people.

I began a life of writing at about nine years old, creating poetry books and filling notebooks and napkins every chance I got.

These exploding words evolved into much-needed therapy for feelings, like anxiety and depression, that I couldn't yet understand, eventually teaching me to embrace the power of expression.

Let’s find beauty in the breakdowns and space to heal in creative release.

We may often feel ashamed of our inner struggles, but it doesn't have to be that wayImmersion in explorative or meditative practices, from fishing to skydiving, tree-hugging to rock climbing, mastering the harpsichord to painting murals, helps us discover the hidden rhythm of our souls.

Write In Shining Armour is a place to let honesty and ambition prevail over heartache and hardships, revealing your true journey and path to happiness.
