Quotes that Will Change Your Future

Quotes that Will Change Your Future

Words words words. The entire concept of words carries more significance to me than anything.

Poetry, fairy tales, novels, blogs, and quotes have given me my most profound ideas of enlightenment and irreplaceable moments of freedom. Without these words I love, my future self would have inevitably formed out of the person I used to be. While being angry, ambitionless, and lost was no hayride, far worse was the fact that I actually thought that was just how life was, for everyone.

There are many things that helped contribute to my much improved attitude and spirituality, and these quotes in particular each started a revolution within me.

Some of them hit me right away, while others I still find my stubborn mind struggling with, but these words will never give up on me. Take a deep breath in….deep breath out… and get ready to change your future...

And lastly, the dearest words I carry closest to my heart are from The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity:

Man, because he sacrifices health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.
— The Dalai Lama
