I think a lot about flying solo.
It is remarkable that we all begin so helplessly, but with the inevitable potential to be anything, and to get there entirely on our own.
After high school, college, and that time after when you settle into your own skin, you realize what a one man act you’re playing. It is up to me and to you and to each of us alone to be the people we want to be.
I want to be someone who writes, and someone who sees the world; someone who loves, smiles, teaches, nurtures, and inspires. I want to laugh as a hopeless addiction, and dream of spreading the spark of life doing what I love.
No matter what threatens to hold me back, I will find the strength to push forward, and be proud of the great journey I've conquered.
